Quality Officer
OL31 Rail Project, Vagnhärad, Sweden
Shape the future of Swedish infrastructure
HOCHTIEF is one of the world's leading infrastructure and construction groups, employing approximately 38,000 people worldwide. We deliver complex projects across a wide range of sectors, including roads, bridges, tunnels, railways, airports, ports, buildings, and both conventional and renewable energy. With operations across Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region, HOCHTIEF combines engineering expertise with innovative and sustainable solutions to shape the infrastructure of the future.
We are currently looking for an experienced and collaborative Quality Officer to join the OL31 railway project in Vagnhärad. This is a role within one of Sweden's most important infrastructure projects, where safety, coordination, collaboration and leadership are critical to success.
About the Project
The OL31 Project forms part of the Ostlänken programme, one of Sweden's largest and most important railway infrastructure investments. Ostlänken is a new approximately 160-kilometre double-track railway connecting Järna and Linköping, designed to increase capacity, improve regional connectivity and support sustainable transport across Sweden.
The project involves complex civil engineering works, including tunnels, bridges, earthworks and rail infrastructure. Working on OL31 offers the opportunity to contribute to a landmark infrastructure programme while supporting the recruitment and development of a diverse, international project organization.
About the Role
As Quality Officer, you will support the set-up, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the project's Quality Management System. You will work closely with construction teams, technical departments, subcontractors and the client to ensure that all project activities comply with contractual requirements, company procedures, and applicable quality standards.
The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who is committed to promoting a strong quality culture throughout the project organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the set up, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the project's Quality Management System.
- Monitor compliance with project quality requirements, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct quality inspections, audits, and site surveillance activities.
- Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation.
- Support the management of non-conformities and corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing quality reports, dashboards, and project quality records.
