Join FTZ and help develop our growing Heavy Commercial Vehicles business
FTZ is looking for a Product Manager to strengthen our expanding Commercial Vehicle Division in Denmark. In this role, you will work with product groups within Heavy Commercial Vehicles, including trucks, trailers and buses, and contribute to developing an attractive and competitive product offering for the Danish aftermarket.
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of commercial vehicles and their components, combined with an interest in product management and commercial development. Whether your background is in product management, spare parts, technical sales or workshop operations, your industry knowledge and motivation could make you the right person for this opportunity.
You will join a growing business area where you can make a real impact, working closely with experienced colleagues both locally and across the MEKO Group.
Your responsibilities
As Product Manager at FTZ, you will work within MEKO's Commercial Vehicle Division, supporting the development and management of several product groups within Heavy Commercial Vehicles.
Based on sales and profitability objectives, you will collaborate with colleagues to ensure that the right product range, competitive pricing and accurate product information are in place, while maintaining close dialogue with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include
- Identifying, initiating and supporting projects for the launch of new products.
- Preparing request-for-quotation material and product specifications for sourcing, and evaluating products in cooperation with colleagues across MEKO countries.
- Managing product phase-in and phase-out activities.
- Maintaining and administering product information in catalogues and PIM systems.
- Monitoring competitors and supporting pricing activities.
- Following up on product assortments, price levels, product performance and relevant actions related to obsolescence, returns and assortment changes.
- Acting as a product expert within your areas and supporting the sales organization with technical knowledge.
- Contributing to the development of an attractive and competitive product offering for customers.
This is a broad, hands-on role combining operational product management with opportunities to contribute to commercial development. You will have regular contact with suppliers, sales teams, product colleagues and logistics functions.
You will work closely with the local Head of Commercial Vehicles and the Group Category Manager, who provides strategic category direction and support. The position does not include personnel management.
